Former Queens Park Rangers attacker Doudou is aiming to clinch a contract at Oxford United.
The Congolese forward is training with the League Two side in an effort to impress new boss Ramon Diaz.
Doudou, who can play on the wing or up front, has headed to The Kassam Stadium to spend a week training with The U's.
The 24-year-old has been without a club in the Football League since he was released by QPR in May 2003 after two seasons at Loftus Road.
He played for non-league side Farnborough last term and also trained with Oldham Athletic in March but failed to earn a deal.
The African will now be aiming for better fortune with Oxford as he looks to relaunch his career in the professional ranks.
